and plus we have stuff like national organizations like BOA (bands of america) that are crazy competitive and althought there arent many band in BOA it slightly resembles something like tssaa and we have things like midstate and all state and college hosted clinics (ex. TTU symposium and MTSU wind band) taht serve the purpose for concert band

mm i think you forgot a 0 its 1000 at least thats what iv been told ever since i was in middle school but STILL $1000 doesnt even put a dent in our budgets our band budget was $48000 not including winter guard

humm good point but i think that MTSBOA (middle tennesse school band and orchestra association) is the band equivalent to tssaa and we do have competitions like the upcoming concert festival held these are all close but i think that a tssaa concert band would maybe be pushing it. i think tssaa marching would b fine cause no matter what anyone says it is a competitive team event that i think would classify as a sport and therefore deserves state mandated competition i dunno... but i think that it its something that we need casue all the individual competitions dont let us see how we stack up agains other bands that arent at the same competition... ok well this is a really long and i applaud you for getting through it!

just wondered if there were any guard chicks around i went to mu first guard competition this past weekend and it was a blast!!!

highly doubt that your ever been to band camp i mean come one its 2 weeks solid with your friends taht youhavent really seen all summer buliding something to have pride in it more than heat and music trust me on this one

wow all i can say is wow i was shaking so hard for the entire last quarter it was the most tense thing ever and man it was such an awesome game both teams were amazing amazing amazing i hope we meet again for district as a sort of tie breaker itll be fun

yeah whatever so its concert season and concert fest is quickly approaching what are some other bands playing for it???? oakland is plaing march slave and esprit do corps very fun but quite a bit tricky for the w.w.s (wooswinds) among us

back to the topic of security i teachers talkin at school today and from what they know there are gonna be 6 police on the floor, 4 in the halls, and 2 mounted police after the game is over they are really watching out this time im glad though its probabbly not a bad idea

as for the best i have no clue but next weekedn ill be at a winterdrumline competition held at my school (OHS) and its gonna rock so i guess ill know wh othe best out of the ones there is but yeah i love me a good drum line

mmmhmm marching season all the way its so fun and really what can beat band camp???? its the most fun thing all year long i have a countdown till band camp on my site right now i mean 2 weeks after marching season is over i want it back! marching season is absolutely my favorite and ah i could go on forever..... I LOVE MARCHING SEASON!!!!!!!!!!

mm in my opinion its all about the DCI yeah im a flute player but hey what can i say DCI is amazing its like the NFL of marching band and man i want to be in a corps maybe i can b a DM one day.... maybe yeah drum and bugle corps all the way
