Oneida will win that District hands down. They have baseball players right now and the rest of that district does not with the exception of Oakdale having a few.

I would be surprised if Rockwood and Grace don't move on.

Yeah Coach, you guys had a very good season. You really had your girls ready against us in the Sectional Tournament. I'm not sure how many eighth graders you had this year, but you are getting them ready to play at the next level. We had a fun time competing against you coach. I'm sure Harriman will see you again next year. Good luck with your team.

I think you might be putting Oneida a little high. They will have one returning and the rest will be Fr. or boys who come out for their Jr. or Sr. year.

You guys are getting me all wrong, I never said anything about it being wrong or breaking rules. I am just pointing out a fact not conspiracy that a large number in the past in the 8th grade have been 15 in the fall during football when harriman(and others) played them in the past. I am sure they just turned 15 after Aug., but still 15. They might be getting away from pushing kinderstart, but it has been a effect tool. I wish that I would have done it myself, but for sports only would be my reason. It makes a big difference, that' all.

You might want to check that out a little more. (18) I don't know how they are 15 in the 8th grade(large # of them anyway) and then 18 in the 12th. Doesn't add up. It is well known up there and now others are finding out about Kinderstart. Don't get me wrong I wish we would do it. Have they stopped Kinderstart? If they don't have it anymore they used to have the program. "I've been following Oneida football closely for many years & can't recall a single senior that graduated older than 18." I could name 3 right now from last year. Two are in harriman at roane state and was talking about it just the other day.

They are not so young maybe inexperienced. Remember Kinderstart.

Remember you can't use the "they are young" excuse with Oneida. Just because they are young in "grade" does not mean they are young in "age". (Kinderstart) But you are right it will come, they will start winning they always do. If there is a way Oneida will find it. Good luck down the road.

Yes going to be Morgan Co. Champs 2 years in a row. What a District!

Scott has a very good QB and WR's but very few players for them to win many games, even with the "good" hire. The "D" is a big weakness for them.

Does anyone know how the morgan co. teams are this year? Is Coalfield still on top? Did Wartburg lose both games to rockwood on fri.?

Rockwood should win both games. I watched both teams in the pre-season and Rockwood is a pretty good team.

Who's winning?

I saw some mistakes on some of the schedules that I keep up with and was hoping someone could fix them. Oneida high school Apr. 9 with Union should have Union 10 OHS 0 They also played again and it was Union 16 OHS 1 on on Apr. 21 (3rd game) Oneida also played Wayne Co. Ky again on Apr. 17 after the Monticello, Ky game and it was Wayne 17 OHS 2 Oneida's games on March 9, 18, 26 & Apr. 7 were all canceled. Thank-you to anyone who can fix these.

WARTBURG 11 SHS 4 J-V Game Wartburg 1 SHS 4 but Wartburg didn't get the last at bat. Nice day for a baseball game. One boy for SHS hit a nice homerun, I think it was the catcher.

Your are right, and that middle school program will help the most. Why won't the get it in the county? My friend said the they don't won't to hurt soccer. I didn't even know that they had soccer in that county, looks like it would be to small of a county to support to many spring sports.

The only one that will happen like that is Catholic and this will be the last year of that, the rest will count, who ever they play or what ever players they play. This is what friend up in scott co. tells me anyway. But they must have kids wanting to play, with no feeder program it will always be very hard to keep up with teams in that district. Its the same store up at oneida the kids don't start learning how to play until they get to SHS or OHS and then some of the great BB and FB players find it very hard to deal with when they get on the baseball field and it is not as easy to them and they or not superstars so they don't play or play something that's easier for them.
