  1. I hope so, but I'm worried about the Lady Jackets. They are terribly out of sync. With the way LC played AC and the way Kingston has played for a month, I'm picking LC... LC 45 RCHS 38
  2. Not a problem. Like I said, I'll be there for both if at all possible. Hopefully no one will come at 7:45 whose game was at 6:00! If it's the other way, they'll get an extra game...hehehe Good luck and let's have an all Roane County final.
  3. bballmom, I thought OS played first tonight. I'll probably be there for both, but still would like to know for sure.
  4. Going to class would probably be a good thing...
  5. I hope your coin was right, but they looked terrified. Not to mention that Kingston hasn't played a good game in almost a month, save for the second half at Anderson County. You gonna be there? [Edited by swamp on 2-24-03 1:26P]
  6. Judging from watching the Kingston girls reaction to LC beating AC, this game is over before it starts and will be all LC. [Edited by swamp on 2-24-03 11:40A]
  7. OS rolls at home; Kingston loses to LC unless LC can't hit free throws.
  8. What if your girls team on the whole is prettier than your cheerleaders???
  9. Goosevol and I were trying to figure out how we would negotiate the moat if we had to. Is Huntsville on the plateau or the Highland Rim? [Edited by swamp on 2-21-03 2:32P]
  10. Kingston has it next year, I think. The good thing about Huntsville is that it definitely won't be under water like OS might be tomorrow.
  11. What if rains on Saturday and Sunday?
  12. I was away in college, so I'll have to admit to missing that one. ...and going anywhere beats going to Scott County... [Edited by swamp on 2-21-03 12:25P]
  13. Nope. Cupp, Thearp, and Lunsford are juniors; Cottrell and Sitzlar (and maybe a couple of others) are sophomores. It does seem like Cupp and Thearp have played forever, though.
  14. I'm with you, although you know a lot more about OS than I do.
  15. Kingston loses Pugh and Gardner..starting 5 would project: Thearp, Cupp, Lunsford, Sitzlar and Cottrell.
  16. They can only throw a scare into all 3 if they lose in the 2nd round since Loudon and Kingston would play each other. I don't know how they match up with Anderson, but I know they beat Kingston and probably should have beaten Loudon.
  17. What is everyone's predictions? I still think Scott over Kingston is the upset special, and I just can't go against the Bobcats on their home floor.
  18. How about Wartburg, LCBorn? [Edited by swamp on 2-21-03 10:20A]
  19. They'll have to play better, but it won't be an exit...just a trip to the loser's bracket. And the cannon didn't really phase me one way or the other. I don't know what's wrong with Kingston. Plemons needs to do something in a hurry to get their attention, though.
  20. LC shut down Matt Poole, too. 7AA officials would have probably called some of the contact holding, but, it seems we agree that it went both ways. Right now, Scott High should be really happy with their draw. Kingston hasn't played well at all down the stretch. Kingston without Alan Coley is in trouble. Cook having to play point guard when Leffew is out really hurts. Kingston had 3 players with at least 3 fouls at the end of the game. Sitzlar fouled out, didn't he?
  21. What is everyone's prediction for this game?
  22. Kingston shot something like 2 of 17 from three point range. LC hit 12 of 13 free throws, 8-8 in the 4th quarter. LC hit several 3's. Kingston missed a bunch of layups. Slow paced game. Cupp did most of the Kingston scoring. Pugh only had 3. Kingston kept it close, but could never get ahead. I think Kingston's biggest lead on the night was 4-3. LC 41 KING 37 [Edited by swamp on 2-21-03 8:23A]
  23. Officials were alright; they called a loose game, and that's how I like it. If they call it tighter last night, Kingston just gets hammered worse. I'm afraid the 2-day rest may hurt both teams. Miller had 5 3's/19 points. LC as a team had 8. Kingston only had 4 players score. As bad a game as the Jackets have played in a while. LC killed Kingston on the boards, too.
