Can they win what is arguably the weakest 3A Region in the state? I mean, come on, South Side always has athletes, but McNairy and Bolivar ain't what they used to be, and Chester County and Liberty are just awful. Dyer County and Huntingdon mauled them in scrimmages. They better hope Gerard Arnold has some eligibility left.

Hickman County in Centerville is looking to schedule some doubleheaders during the month of July. Dates open are the 8th and the15th. Would like to have a home and an away doubleheader. Please move the April 18th game between Richland and Hickman Co to April 24th and switch home/visitor. The game was rained out and a DH will be played at Richland on the 24th.

As an outsider looking in....... Sounds to me like there was a squeeze out from the very top. Two top ranking people don't resign like that without some kind of unwanted pressure from there, whether it be forced or whether they felt the patients were running the asylum (idiots at the very top). Top that off with the the job is only going to open for 5 days. I'd say they already have a replacement in their head, they just want to make sure they "do it right" (which is complete BS). In my opinion, I would not interview there because I would just waste my $3.50/gal gas driving there, even if I was a MUCH better candidate than whatever backpatting hometown fellow church member they were going to name. I wish those kids the best of luck. That is one of the three toughest regions in 1A (along with 5 and 6).

Hickman County's games on Saturday, March 15th, against Collinwood and Forrest, were cancelled and will not be made up. Also, the game listed on April 20th against Summertown should be for March 20th. Request a Plus member to fix the schedule. Thanks.

I found it really funny that they had such a huge ad on TSSAA's bulletin board for a coach. It's gonna be dang near impossible to attract a good coach. They have NO chance to compete in the region they are in. Now, if someone just wanted to go because they have nice facilities and steak for a pre-game meal every Friday, ......................

JCM?? You can't throw rocks at a guy for anything that happens at that school. I wouldn't work there to save my life. I'd rather rob a bank and risk going to prison. I've met him before and he's knowledgeable about both baseball and football. Good guy.

Thank you to whoever fixed Hickman Co.'s schedule. The following games need to be changed to district games March 10/11 vs Lewis Co March 17/18 vs Page March 24/25 vs Giles Co. March 31/April 1 vs East Hickman April 7/8 vs Marshall Co. April 14/15 vs Spring Hill April 21/22 vs Loretto

Please change Hickman County's classification to AA, Region 5, District 10. Our district games are not showing up as district games even though I check the box for it. Also, please change the April 16 game at Eagleville to April 17. We have a double header with them on the 17th.

Richland has a history of being a tough out in the playoffs. Just ask Camden 2 years ago.

Scenario - A punt returner runs a punt all the way back for a touchdown. 20 yards after he caught the ball, his team was called for clipping. So even though the TD is negated, his team keeps the ball 5 yards downfield from where he received the kick. Does he get any credit for yards?

Waverly did NOT score on Hickman's first team D. They scored after Hickman cleared the bench in the THIRD quarter when it was 34-0. Hickman's QB was 0-2 against you. One of those passes was a duck because he bobbled the snap and was just trying to get rid of it to avoid a sack. But he ran for 65 yards and 2 TDs and returned a punt on you as well.

They changed the rules this year, coach. You can't do anything for 3 weeks after your last game.

If Cornersville can get to the edge and make those Moore Co. fatboys run their cans off, it could be a long night for the Blue Raiders. If Moore Co. can make the game about physicality, Cornersville will get destroyed. Cornersville 26 Moore Co. 21

No way. How many years was he there before he had a good season? Over 10. And the only reason they are any good now is because of Clay Head. The players from that year and after got that taste for winning in their mouth his senior year and it has carried over for the last few years. That run ends this year since WHH already beat them and Cascade is gonna pound em like friend chicken.

Something very odd about the SOS on CoachT ...... Why is Sweetwater not listed?

Every 2A team west of Nashville who is going to the playoffs is rooting for Humboldt Westview, althought they would never do it, would be better off throwing this game. Humboldt qualifying for the last wildcard means all Nashville privates go East.

Humboldt has best SOS for a wildcard. I believe as long as they beat Gibson County they will get the last spot.

From the TSSAA site Once the thirty-two teams have been selected for the Class 2A playoffs, there will be four eight team brackets created according to geography. The two eight team brackets from the middle and eastern part of the state will comprise the top half of the 32-team bracket and the two eight team brackets from the middle and western part of the state will be the lower part of the 32-team bracket. This sounds to me like the state will be divided into the four parts by making an East and West bracket, and taking the middle and dividing it in half from top to bottom. It had been specualted that the 'quadrants' would be actual quadrants, dividing the state up into North East, North West, South East, and South West brackets. While I think that would be a lot more fun, it doesn't read to me that that will be the way it gets divided.

Your guys need Upperman or Cannon Co to get in. Its ironic that losing to Cannon Co. would help your playoff quadrant (because no matter how you slice it all three Nashville privates will be in your quadrant if Humboldt takes the last spot).
