The best facility is Science Hill and it's not close. For atmosphere, GULP, I have to say DB is the best I have seen. The tradition at Maryville and Alcoa is better but the atmosphere at DB is unbelievable especially with the 400 member band. Science Hill's stadium is like a small college but better.

Pierce is a force at RB. He has good speed and sees the hole very well. They have to have a good night from him against Kingsport to have any chance to break their long run of wins. I like Adams inside the 10 for toughness.

I enjoyed visiting with your Dad at the DB/Bearden game two weeks ago. Met him by chance and he got a kick out of me being from Alcoa. I sat down by him and another nice couple who I assume their son is one of your classmates from SS and UTK. Funny to get his perspective on DB's chances after having seen Maryville with you covering one of their games.

That's a fair and accurate summary. I have seen each team three times this year and your analysis is spot on. DB cannot stop Maryville and I expect GQ to rang it up this week. DB is very, very average in the secondary and it will cost them big time this week plus they have so many kids that go both ways which will be tough on the road. Maryville is much more physical than DB and that will show up big time in my opinion. The DB kids and coaches seemed really confident tonight on the news segment but I'm afraid they are in for a rude awakening this Friday. I also think DB fans are going to see a big dose of Maryville's speed in Cody Carroll who I expect to have a big night in the throwing game. We shall see.......

I have seen both teams in person more than once. DB has a nice team and Foreman is really quick. Maryville hasn't seen anyone as quick as Foreman this year, however DB does not have much depth and that will be a BIG problem against Maryville. GQ will scheme it up and make DB's defensive backs play the whole field which is going to be very tough since they play both ways. DB also gambles a lot on D and that plays into GQ's hands as I'm afraid he will make them pay dearly. DB is going to have to play lights out D, especially in the secondary or it is going to be a long, long night for them. DB has some quality players but overall team depth is going to hinder them greatly in this matchup.

He is a quick rascal, I enjoyed watching him very much last night. He reminds me of Randall Cobb when he was at Alcoa only a bit faster but not as physically strong. Randall could throw a lot better but Foreman is has "special" feet.

I hate that for 21 he is a good player. DB's depth is razor thin. I was surprised how many kids play both ways.

I have seen both teams play this year. OR doesn't have a lot of depth but is very athletic and hard nosed. SH is bigger and stronger and can hurt OR with the vertical passing game which is what Maryville did to OR. They really bite on play action passing which SH doesn't do a lot of so I hope they watch that tape. OR has similar athletes to DB and runs a spread type offense.
