I know that yes some people are bashing maryville. But me and the rest that are posting about this are just saying yeah yall have had success but its hard to call yourselves the big daddy of the state when you look at your opponents. Im not takin anything away from maryville theyre talented and prolly have great coaching too. but its hurting the program by stayin at such a low level of comepetition. the streak will continue most likely and the only chances of it ending will prolly come the last 2 games of the playoffs. All im tryin to say atleast and i think alot of others are too is look at who you play versus some others that play at a higher level and come out with near perfect records and never come close to seein a national ranking. all im sayin is strength of schedule should play more into the national rankings more than it does.

maryville needs to be in 5A and play a stronger schedule and see if they win 65 straight. You can say you have won 65 striaght all you want but it is from a weak schedule. play some DII schools and some of the stronger 5A schools and get some real respect. Its easy to win in a weak region

what makes maryville so special they play 2 teams out of their region that arent that impressive..they always blow out alcoa and blount isnt that impressive either. Franklin on the other hand plays McCallie and won, last years pwerhouse Hillsboro and won. And we could compare Ravenwood too except for the loss to Goodpasture and Franklin cuz they beat BA. Anyone can play in a weak division when they should be up a division and blow eveyone out. Its time to play with the big dogs and quit bein the bullys i dont see why a team that owns weak teams is ranked so high i just dont get it

the kid has graduated and jones did nothing wrong by calling him out get over it the "kid" is an adult now and has to take responsibility for his actions...that was a low blow tim you know jones did nothing but care about franklin football and baseball and the entire school

Why dont yall move outta Division-Maryville/Alcoa and play a true 5A/DII schedule and see if you get those stacked up stats

exactly...and think about all of the deaths that have come after it for the people that protect you every day. I dont know anyone effected by 9/11 but i have a coach thats been to the middle east twice and still has two more trips and a neighbor that could go back too. B-wood by 21 I just dont think Centennial is ready to compete with the other wilco teams yet but i expect improvement from last year but i think brentwood is still too strong

Im not sure about tie breakers, but with Houston winning tonight and a Franklin win on Friday, there would be a three way tie. MUS and Houston are locked in. So what are the tie breakers?? If it went to power rankings i think it could be christian bros and franklin if ive figured it right.

haha im pretty sure Franklin's JV beat Signal Mountain by more than that last year and it was their varsity i doubt that baylor can get past cookeville or maybe even centennial and they got whooped by Webb BB and have another one comin id worry about winning first and save the trash for when you can prove it and if baylor does make state for D2 then theyll be in for a rough time if they face brentwood or ryan

Final score MBA 13 Franklin 8 It was a good match up and the weather probably played a big part in it it got pretty bad during the middle of the third it was a good game though and both teams have things to work on, but i expect Franklin to be a threat in the playoffs and i did notice MBA slipped off alittle from last year though but they are still a good team
