Any teams played in a jamberee already? How many teams play week 0? Cookeville played Upperman friday night and showed some good things. Didn't really look all that big but showed signs. Should be ready come August 22.

Ha no. That was not Cookeville's starters. Cookeville had their 2nd string defense and special teams in before the 1st quarter was over. Not to mention Hennigan only played about 3 snaps at quarterback.

I understand Phoenix but LC 5 years ago was a power. Cookeville 3 years ago was ranked #2 in the state in the 3rd round. I haven't seen any teams that good in this region in the last two years.

What region are you watching? Better every year? What time frame are we looking in?

Yes, if its the same one i'm thinking about then he is very quick but a little on the small side. Great scrimmage last night each team seemed to get better and better. I think all four teams will do well this season.

Yes Cookeville didn't win the region last year. But For the past 5 or 6 years Cookeville has dominated for the most part. Why do I think Cookeville will be better this year? Cookeville is young, but very talented. They have a strong senior class. They have a few positions that are still in need but overall much better from last year. And don't forget, Cookeville gave Smyrna their best game last year in the first round for those who saw.. Just wondering, but how do the other teams in the region look compared to last year? Better? or About the same?

Cookeville by a mile. Different level of football Cookeville will be playing come region time. Not even close really kinda like the 05' season. Closest region game in 05' was 14 pts.

Cavs are looking young so far. How do the other teams in the region look after a few days of practice?

Cookeville is actually at Pearl Cohn on friday, at or around 6:30pm.

Cavs should be better than last year, didn't lose a whole lot of good players. They will be young so I would think the cavs get better and better as the season roles along.

I know they didn't play Lawrence Co. and Shelbyville. Siegel did. Region 8 is weak. Thats what im trying to tell you. Have you looked at who is in region 8 with shelbyville going 27-5? No one. . And Siegel beat Shelbyville soundly. . . Region 7 and 8 this year are very very average or below average regions.

Tell me who they have plated sparta boy to get there? Tullahoma, Lawrence Co. , Shelbyville . . . Weak

All I was saying is that overall this sparta team is average or less than average. Two years ago in 7aaa they might have finished 5th or 6th in the distric. I tried to explain this to many of you back in the regular season but your big heads got in the way. . . WC is just an average team playing in a less than average league. . And it showed when it matters. It also shows how down our region is.

Sparta. . . Wow. . . I don't know what to say. Except, I told you so. . . I tried bringing most of you back down to earth when everyone was talking about state. I've seen lots of basketball in my days and from the very beginning I knew White Co. didn't have it. For all those sparta fans who like to talk it up when the going is good, you deserve to lose. Did you guys really think you were that good? You sparta fans love talking behind these boards and but you can't seem to back it up, ever.

Can't believe i am gonna be on white countys side for this but i now know what yall felt like at Blackman. I thought your gym had home cooking, wait till you visit the Blaze. Unbelievable. It isn't right for the refs to control the outcome of a game like this. Can the state of Tennessee not find any better refs? I know my cavs lost but come on people, I don't care what team it is, the game should be decided by the players not refs. Cookeville really missed Currier tonight (out with flu). Really could have used another big man or at least 5 more fouls to have cause we couldn't get within two feet of #50 tonight without a foul. Good season cavs.
