I noticed more this year than any other that many officials pick and choose the rules they want to use and enforce during games from the aforementioned NHFS Rule book. Most of them probably don't even know this section exists. Until there is accountability for officiating these scenarios will become more common and the kids of course will be the big losers.

I never saw the jersey rules enforced this season, and according to people at the game it was only enforced on Ensworth players. Not shocking based on everything else the officials did. I even heard that BA was contesting the ejections on Bowers and Wades behalf because some or their coaches witnessed the entire incident and know they got screwed.

Reasonable people would agree with you and hope something much bigger would ensue but that would require integrity and accountability and we are talking about the T$$AA.

I have never seen a the official do what the ref did. They throw the flag call the penalty and run off the field, not go confront the HC coach in an aggressive manner. IF the report says the ejections were for cursing why was it not addressed at the time unless this all occured during the mayley which ensued after the penalty on the last play. OF COURSE this is all hearsay, but the bumping issue is clearly on tape thanks to FOX 17 and the Ref is the instigator and should be done for next season too.get way more than a game suspension for a game he was never going to get any way. Typical TSSAA support the wrong thing because they write in 'a no appeal clause', because they are above any reproach and the shadiest organizaton ever. Do what they want when they want and could careless about what is best for the kids in every situation not just this one. Every school should drop out and start a new association with the focus on integrity and kids.

Must be true it came from the self proclaimed guru. Never got a letter and never had an extra official - did see two extras last night at a playoff game and it was horribly officiated. Take all the is extra money and teach these guys how to officiate not put more unqualified guys on the field.

There is no accountability and no ranking system, so they just randomly pick their officials for the playoffs just like they do for the regular season. Until the AD's and HC's make it an issue it will continue because the only thing the TSSAA cares about is $$$$$$$$! I heard it was an injured leg. makes me wonder if he was even hurt like TC and Webb. I know the story is concussion then sick for those two games but people inside the FC camp say he won't play if he thinks they cannot win or if he might get hurt. Not saying this is true just makes you go HMMMM?

Have you watched one? The quality is bad and first round games were being refunded they were so bad. It's another money scam for the TSSAA just like the $8 ticket prices. Why is it always about money for them instead of about the kids - like they claim it is?

It is my understanding that the 6-4 FB split has to do with a geographic region spilt - the other schools on that side do not have FB.

No one ever said the kid was being punished, and he plays some, but it is hard to learn when you are not there for the teaching time. You all must be great coaches lol you sure know alot about size and not much about practice.

Emanual Newsome he is USN Coop player and has never played and gets to practice late often due to the fact the he comes over from USN everyday. Hard to play when you miss individual everyday where the skill work and teaching goes on.
