I had asked and was told that the TFP takes the stats from the box scores. It is up to the coach (normally the home team coach) to submit the game stats. If this isn't done the stats are not complete. Which is probably why you don't see anyone from Baylor, GPS, Hixson, Soddy, . Y0u can't tell me that Thomas (Baylor) or Wyatt (SD) or others, wouldn't be on the goal list if their coaches kept the TFP up to speed on stats.

As GPS is the 'sister' school to McCallie, will the results of the football game last friday (McCallie 24 - Baylor 3) provide any additional motivation to the Baylor squad? In any case: Baylor 4 - GPS 0

If you are going to use wins/losses you should include strength of schedule. Even so over the last several years the final 1 thru 8 rankings have historically been the 8 teams that made it to the state tournament. . . regardless of record and score of the games they played in the state. . .

A parent of an ooltewah player who is also a coach at east ridge told me before Coach Blair left Ooltewah for baylor he worked very hard to get his non club player on club teams at East Ridge and Redoubt teams. . . He recognizes the fact that the more club players you have, and the more experience they get, the better your team will do

I feel sorry for nashville area teams then because Chatt. TFP does a poor job compared to knoxville newpapers. . . And what DonC says is true it goes in cycles. . . . one year ND, mccallie, and Baylor . . . the next year CCS and Baylor. . . with some bones thrown to Ooltewah. . . the scraps go to SD, Red Bank, Hixson, ER, CSAS etc...

my understanding is that all you have to do to be a referee for tssaa soccer is take an online test. if you can read a book and answer a question you too can be a referee. some of the recreational soccer refs at 12 yrs old are proabably better informed about the game than some of the officials we see in the high school game

You are right . . . I know who cree is but I do not know him personally. . . I can only go with what I have seen watching him on the sidelines (not a joke) . . . I will try to lighten up and and take it all with a grain of salt

How can you expect Soddy Daisy to agree to something you would never agree to? You are saying you would have moved to a neutal site? I seriously doubt it. You would not agree to it in the spring when the SD boys travelled.

SD 4 Central 1 Ooltewah 5 RB 0 Ooltewah travels to Soddy Daisy for the District 6 final. The played a 0-0 tie earlier in the season. Should be a good one thursday night

I take it the "well-coached" comment was sarcasm since you talk about how they take so many outside shots. If they were well coached maybe they would learn to work the ball behind the defense or get the ball in front on a cross instead of shooting from out wide as well
