I am sure the Falcons will be ready to play! They respect everyone and fear no one. As for Greenville. That was a huge win over CuuckyDUD!!!! Be proud. Now go beat Oakdale. Any good team you guys played, you got Beat! Stop livin in the past, and have some class. Now back to the game. I think Webb gave Alcoa a good game. Fulton played Webb preseason. it was a draw. Greeneville will be the team to beat but, The past couple of years Fulton had mostly Freshmen and Sophmores on the line. This year will be the test! The 9th grade team and the JV both had strong showings last season. Both undefeted, and had to play Alcoa.I am sure Coach Black will have the Falcons fit and ready. It should be a fun season, the Falcons have loads of new talent ready to shine. With a HUGE, and seasond line they may make some noise. Ripper

Greenville seems unstopable. I know they are not a big as Fulton. You can not go by how they played other teams. That what LA thought. It should be a battle. Good luck to both. The winner should win the STATE. Ripper

It would be great if the Falcons could pull players from all over Knox Co like the schools in Blount and Greene Co can .. if you dont live in the Falcon school zone you cant attend and play sports .. its tough to comptet when a team like Greeneville can get the best players from Greene Co regardless of where they live in that county .. there should be 3 divisions in TSSAA .. Private, Open Zone and Closed zone .. that would be fair !! Anyway .. the utmost respect for Alcoa ... they have just hit a bump in road this year You are 100% CORRECT!!!!!!! when is TSSAA going to figure this out! Yes Greenville won! They are good! But with a OPEN SCHOOL ZONE they get players from all over the county. All of Knox County is not open. The players must live in the school zone. The Chucky Doak coach said Greenville had 9 of the players that should have went to his school. How can that be fair. I am sure Chucky can not build the field house and have the nice turff field. TSSAA should make all open school zoned counties play private school class! That is a unfair advantage. Ripper

Alcoa would beat the CRAP out of Greenville,. The play NOBODY in the season. They backed into the playoffs by beating Redbank after Knox Fulton softened them up. It was a fluke they won. And still the mighty Green Devils fell in the final round. Alcoa will play anyone anytime. The last team to beat Alcoa, except Maryville Was Knox Fulton in 06. They have done it, Greenville just talks about it. Ripper

Knox Fulton goes to Union County Friday. Fulton can be GREAT at times, but what can we expect from the Falcons in the second season. It looks as if they make it through the first round of the playoffs they will face the mighty Green Devils. To be the best you have to beat the best. Ripper

Here is the DEAL!!! Alcoa, DL, Catholic, and Maryville need to be in the private school division. They play by different rules than the rest. Other schools have a ZONE the players must live in. If you want to go to any of the BIG 4, just pay your money. If you can play football you may be able to go FREE! As for playing anyone, I know for a fact after the 06 season, that Alcoa would not play Fulton. Fulton tried to get Alcoa to play the coach said (NO WAY)! Fulton had to pick up OakRidge. RIPPER

The FHS KC game was 27-0, but one factor made it happen. The FHS linebacker #27 went down in the first quarter. Fans, and players thought it may be a season ending injury. The team folded like a lawn chair. FHS could not run, or pass. The team was FLAT! KC also hit a couple long passes. Before #27 went down the score was 0-0, and the FHS D had KC O in check. The FHS O was running the ball when #27 went down. I know the outcome would have been different if #27 does not get hurt! If KC has all of their players they would be in the finals, but you can`t change HISTORY! DL is TOUGH! FHS is also! It will be a good game. RIPPER

Teams take on the personality of the COACHES! They only will do what the COACHES let them! If you were at the game it is clear that AE has talent, but it has no CLASS. When you act like bad boys, you had better back it up. They were still acting like punks when the game was almost over. Even the AE ball boys were out of hand! Will Knox Fulton charge to park? I know that AE does. I will have to get there early. Krogers may even take AEs deal and charge to park in their lot. Ripper

KC does a outstanding job of finding players from all over. Just ask Knox Central and other knox county PUBLIC schools. KC should play with the PRIVATE SCHOOLS!! Not Public. They have different RULEs, and unlimited $$$$$$$. I wish TSSAA would wake up. I guess after they buy a state title. they will change It is just not fair! RIPPER
