Hows Summertown lookin this year?

How is Summertown? Well, they're Summertown. Solid as always. They are only dressing 11 or 12 players this year (few injuries and I heard some quit earlier in the season due to some conflicts), but the few games I've seen them play, they are as solid as ever.

 

I don't think I've seen them make a defensive error yet, and their pitching is above average. They probably aren't going to run-rule any good teams, but they are going to be in ever ballgame they play. John Moore (senior, I think) is the best on the mound I've seen for them, and John Ivie is pretty tough himself, at the plate and on the mound. To beat Summertown this year, a team cannot make any errors or give them too many free opportunities. Look for them to finish in the top 3 in 12a.

They run ruled Santa Fe 11-1 I was told. They should do the same to Hampshire and maybe Zion.

They got zion 19-7....they're looking really tough but not invincible. I think they're the class of 12 A

yep wormy i guesse i have to agree with u summertown is tough really tough they have the potential to go a long way this year
