yea trey is good but he never go any blocking so he never had the chance to live up to what he could have been. hes gone now though so next year i got no clue whos gonna be running back.

Just a thought, Trey was ran off tackle 95% of the time. Everybody knew who was getting the ball and where. It's not hard for Defensive Coordinator to put together a plan for that. McMinn brought their LBer's everyplay in the guard-tackle gap and stopped up the hole. A tight end dump pass would have loosened them up and forced them to play back but the coaching staff didn't even have that play in the book. Can't blame blocking.

Soddy Daisy should be fine.  The offense will be big, great wide recievers, and tight-end.  Lots of speed at tailback.  The defense has a lot of size but several holes to fill.  However, I have never seen a team coached by Weathers that did not at least have a good defense.

on the coment about defense, it will be fine we have one of the finest defensive corrinators around.. now about the rb jake brett is probaly the fastest guy I have ever seen and since last season all he has been doing is lifting weights. we have two of the best recievers in the state along with an awesome TE so i think sd will be fine

What's the spring schedule for the big blue?

What's the insider's views on who will replace Gary Orr?  Is Rickets staying at reciever I hope or is there talk of moving him to Q-back?

They are trying to get Jared Dobbs to play QB.

Yes they are looking at moving Rickets to qb. I hope they don't.

I'm sure Weathers will make a good decision....

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
