That is too many.....then your pitchers arent happy because they are not getting enough time. It's good is there are injuries..............

Another thing is how good is the defense behind the picther. I've seen picthers throw to many pitches because of errors and be worn down at the end.

SODDY DAISY! our ace in the hole nikki waters is dominant any time she pitches....however,whenever she does need a break we have the backup(would be a starter ANYWHERE else in the area) and she can dominate a game as well

What teams have the most good pitchers?  I've seen teams with 1 good pitcher, even two, but what about the ones with more?  Does it matter in school ball?

A team doesnt need more than 2 quality pitchers to win a state championship, and if she is good enough, and healthy enough, a team can win with one. Any more than 2 quality pitchers is icing on the cake, but it does make for some unhappy players that dont get to play as often as they would like.

Just speaking on behalf of the Knoxville area, from the games that I have watched I think that Powell has two quality pitchers in Broyles and Sutphin. Both have experience and neither one is a senior. They might be the best combo in Knoxville.

hey all you guys that have 3+ quality pitchers send one Creek Woods way.they have one very good pitcher.they have a couple who are effective the first time thru the lineup with their junk,but then sometimes it can get hairy.that makes it hrd to get very deep in the tournaments. seems like the Dickson Co. area teams can only have one dominant pitcher per team.move on in here girls

The way the district, regionals, and sub-state is played a team can reach the state with one pitcher. But I think it would be hard to win a state title with one pitcher if you get in the loser bracket. If you stay in the winners bracket one could be enough. With only one pitcher then an injury could be bad.

Fallon and Cat are both great pitchers. But, unfortunately, if you check Riverdale's injury list today you will find out why you might need more than 1 and maybe more than 2 strong pitchers to be in the hunt at the end of the season.
