Was the second game JV or an actual game that counted???

They were both varsity. CC even deliberately made outs in the top of the 5th to try to get the game in before the weather hit. Both teams' aces pitched but in different games. white pitched amazing first game and paden buckley pitched very well in second game.

Either none of them matter or they both matter. One game wasn't more important than the other. Milan can't rely on one pitcher. Yeah, he's good, but if there is a next time, i can assure you that cc won't throw their #7 pitcher against him. CC has seen J white now and still has Cooper left in the pen. It will all come down to if CC comes ready to play. (ex. first and second game at milan) I say it will be close.

You have lost your mind. If milan pitched J. White and CC pitched their "ace", Milan would kill them. I have seen milan face way better pitchers than that guy and they killed him. Milan just couldnt get the bats going. If Milan pitches J. White and their bats are hot, they can beat ANYONE!!!!

Just because the this message board consists of many Milan fans doesnt mean all of you are right. The white kid is really good, but to say that the first game of the double header counts, and the second one didnt (just because milan lost) is insane.

 

 

Another thing, White was tough, but when he isnt pitching, Chester has the better team.

milan pitched their #4..in preparation for a more important team aka lexington..but the point is that if we played them again it would not be a double header and of course they would get one of the whites and of course they would not score and they would get 10 run ruled again..thats all their is to it..the better team is milan obviously compare the records..but i guess you know everything..

So we threw the #4 and he didnt do so good. Bottom line is that if you ever get

to face Milan again or get out of the district , you will see one of the Whites. It doesnt matter how many times you see J. White, its going to be the same outcome.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
