2. Toss-up between Dickson County and Henry County. I'll go with Dickson. Their coach always has them ready for District time.

I believe Henry County faces Dickson County today and the winner plays Clarksville for the title on Thursday.

I may have the dates wrong...if so, someone correct me.

Chs has 2 wins and are in the championship game. They beat NW 12-2w/ 4 jacks and beat DC 12-4 last night. DC beat HC 1-0 behind the arm of Bishop. HC eliminated NW 8-5. Today's matchup is HC vs DC in loser's bracket final. Winner must beat CHS 2 times.

Congrats to Clarksville high as Cody Heggie hits their 9th grand slam of the year to defeat the DC cougars 12-4. Congrats to coach Paul Mittura on his 1st district title and to Coach Shelby Rye for having his team playing its best ball at tourney time as usual. Thanks Coach Rye for all your years of service to the game. You are a true Gentleman and a great ambassador for the game of baseball. Best of luck to both teams next Mon.
