Harpeth has a new head football coach and he is Doug Loope, who served as defensive cordinator under Marshall Winkler for the past several years. Loope has coached some pretty solid high school football players that have shined on that side of the football in his tenure at Harpeth. Players like Adam Huffines, Adam Conatser, Josh Conatser, Matthew Tant, Jason Tant, and Jason Adams (who were each all-state football players at Harpeth) starred under Loope. Now that the Indians have found themselves a leader I wish them the best and that week one matchup against Cheatham Co. in Kingston Springs should be one hot ticket over in that part of the county.
