biglefty06
dyersburg is trading in their football helmets for the lacrosse field. Watch out. They have the athletes to win the state title. This year McCallie won not with a bunch of big defensemen and middies that play running back, but with guys who focus on lacrosse 100%. We were by no means the biggest team in the tournament, but with teamwork and skill we won. It's going to take more than a year to start a decent program too. And coincedentally, McCallie did have a middie that played running back. As for the 100% focus, we have plenty of guys that play multiple sports and even more that could but choose not to. One of the reasons I think we won was the overall athleticism of our team. However, you're right in saying that it takes more than athletes, but with solid coaching and participation, a program with better athletes should ultimately be the better team. StraightUpLaxin
Yeah but i think he was trying to say that you can't just put the backfield of your football team on a lacrosse field and win a state championship
palmetto6
Yeah but put in two linebackers with long sticks in with textbook tom, the T100, and you got yourself a defense

You left off an O. And put the 9th grade football kick off team kamikaze at attack, and you've got yourself 5'4" 180lbs of pain.
