The run was scored on an error -- there was a bad throw to first base, the ball ended up in right field, and the girl who had been on second base rounded third and scored. (And you're right, Broyles did walk Alicia four times.)

Farragut would have been playing in that game if we had walked Alicia once. What a great year she had. She was always a pull hitter, but this year she has shown power to the opposite field. It's a shame Bearden did not advance. This was the year.

 

Congrats to Heather. That had to be awkward, playing at Bearden last year and pitching against them in a key game this year.
