LC vs. Elizabethton?

What was the" interference" call against LC's keeper that the News-Sentinel referred to in the writeup? Anyone know the details?

 

I assume they called obstruction? Was the result an indirect free kick for Elizabethton or what?

The LC keeper, Garcia was the best Ive seen at this level. Very very intense. It was amusing to hear him hollering in Spanish. I know he speaks good english. Nice quotes from him in the JC paper today. LC has a great program, and I think they were a little surprised at the level of the cyclone play. Cyclones had more chances in the second half. The yellow card on Garcia gave them a golden chance against a substitute goalie, but the shot was wide. I have no idea how the kid from CAK could score five goals on Garcia. That kid must be something else.

first of all sounds like a great game congrats to lc and elizabethton way to go yall surprised me a lot but it was a good surprise, congrats to yall too, at least it was good to know that yall fought and played as hard as you could and took the game to as far and long as it would go, as for me scoring on garcia 5 times, i did have some motivation. after i scored 2 of the goals, garcia felt like he had to throw down some smack to me for who knows what reason so with out saying anything i had to lay the hammer down, all this being said garcia is very good and i have respect for him, i just don't like to be trash talked and if i am i try and do something about it

I mean no disrespect in saying this to you, but the Weido Garcia you scored 5 goals on is not the Weido Garcia that we all know and are used to. I am more than confident that on any other given day Weido would have blocked more than half of your shots. They were all very great shots but, I know Weido and I know his limitations and those shots do not excede them. Once again no disrespect to you or your team and I wish you luck in Memphis and we all hope to see you guys again.

Well I doubt he was making a comment to offend any of you. He was most likely telling his forwards and mids to be ready and to push out. Weido is not the type of guy who will just openly tell someone they are crap.

hey no offense taken buddy, ive heard good things about garcia and i'm sure he is better than what i saw, but also i would not put the blame on garcia for all 5 of the goals, some of them you just can't do much about, i mean a one on one situation for a keeper is like 90% in favor of the forward, so he did what he could and thats all he can, well good luck to lc in the state tournament, tough first game but if yall play well who knows what could happen, us east tn boys are rootin for ya

haha well most of yall don't know me personally, some of you may think that i am very egotistic and am all about myself, but really if you know me personally i'm not like that, i actually try very hard to be humble and not let the media or being on the national team go to my head, but i make jokes about how i think i'm the greatest with my friends just to mess with them a little and my signature was kinda a joke but i was thinking about it and i thought that a lot of you guys probably would take that seriously bc yall don't know me personally so i decided to change it bc i don't like pride and i'm really not all about myself so i don't want to make it seem like i am. so i changed it to " i try and be the greatest" bc i think that fits and thats what we all strive for, to be the greatest, or to be as great as we can be. so there you buddy, and good luck in your game and i hope to see you guys again too, like i said on another post, you have the support of the east side boys with you my friend so go get em
