how can you pick halls over collierville when collierville beat them 8 to 1

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that they probably say this because Collierville and Halls played in the second game of the year. Collierville also faced Halls' #3 pitcher. Halls' bats are also numerous times better now than they were then.

Anyone know about Houston? I mean, abviously they are good b/c they have made it to the elite 8, but will this game become a nail biter? Umm, also, are most of the games played in the evening? Thanks everybody and CONGRATULATIONS to every team!!

Houston has won back-to-back Warrior Spring Classics.

This year they had a pretty good weekend, winning 8-7 in extra innings over defending Tennessee state champion Farragut in a great game, scoring the winning run against Tony Delmonico with an unearned run that was almost stopped by a diving attempt in centerfield. They then went on to win 12-2 over Alabama finalist Cullman and 11-2 over defending Kentucky state champion Christian County.

    • You wanna talk about zoned for Bearden.  Lol.  I don't think so.
    • Great win for the Pirates. State Tourney bound !
    • You're talking about the running back, right? I don’t believe he was zoned for west, but there were numerous players that came from TKA a few years ago and still are. I’m sure some are, but the majority aren’t.
    • Gratitude abounds for Blake Satterfield, whose five-year tenure as the head coach and exemplary ambassador for Trousdale County and its educational system has left an indelible mark. His strategic leadership during playoff seasons was nothing short of remarkable. Anticipating that his future endeavors will be equally impressive.  Perhaps the board members will refrain from undermining the incoming coach as they did in Blake's case.
    • Yeah that's true, I was talking more about football.  If you go to a TKA game, there's nobody there.  The only people there are the parents of cheer and parents of players.    The kid that left and came to West was zoned for West and decided to quit private and go public school.  He won two state championships at West, so hard to blame him there.
