Morris is pitching. Houston had three or four hits in the first three innings and Tullahoma apparently had a couple of blunders. Morris usually gets stronger as it goes along. Hope that's the case today.

The word from Memphis was that Morris looked a little tired. Also Morris's pitches were predictable. Everytime Morris got 2 strikes on the hitter he threw his curve ball. Hargrove has to do a better job of calling pitches for Morris. I saw Morris pitch a few times this year and most of the time when Morris had 2 strikes he threw a breaking ball. Good hitters can hit a fastball and Houston has some good hitters.

Morris should not been tired. He pitched on Friday night against Cleveland and had his normal rest. They wanted him to have 3 days rest. Thats what Tullahoma told Cleveland about playing on friday instead of earlier on friday in the sectional.

Against Cleveland he was predictable but Cleveland is not a good curve ball hitting team. The 1st baseman is the one that hurt Cleveland with 3 hits.

well hargrove is probably saving morris for later games thats why he only pitched him 5 innings looking at the stats tullahoma hit lea pretty well 5 fly out and 9 ground balls but houston defence played great

saving him?? sounds like he was giving up runs thats why he was pulled.
