white house will "win" this scrimmage due to nothing more than different approaches taken by the coaches. white house will prepare as if they were going in to a friday night. Lipscomb will not have a game plan. their approach will be to see how some young and inexperienced players can adapt to the game. it will be interesting to see how some big shoes left by rogers and especially elrod will be filled. either way it will be entertaining and very productive for both teams.

You are right in saying that White House will win (if there is a such thing as winning a scrimmage) but it won't be because Lipscomb won't be approahcing it like a regular season game. Lipscomb could approach this game as if it were the state championship and yet they'd still get beaten up by a team that is simply better and much more physical than what they are thumb

The onlt two teams in class 3A that have a legit shot at beating White House this year in my honest opinion are Fulton and Pearl Cohn. The reason for these two teams is because both of them have size, athletes all over the field, and coaches who have each won a couple of state titles.

First of all, I would like to welcome all the Whitehouse fans to the Lipscomb side of the field to sit in our new purple chairbacks. The reserved seating does not apply for scrimmages.

BTW, Coach Mac has a couple of state titles (Coach Porter, great coach, but just 1) as well, and we have size and athletes, but as stated by sabre3, Coach Mac will not think about the scrimmage until August 5.

Be safe driving, and check out our seats.

First of all, scrimmages are an opportunity to look at your team in game enviroments. Lipscomb will work on their game and WH will work on theirs. Winning and losing a scrimmage is for the fans to debate.

Both teams will move people around, work on weaknesses, attitude, timing, work ethic, reads, a list of goals each team will want to accomplish.

To insinuate that one team takes this scrimmage as a real life game really doesn't understand what a scrimmage accomplishes. A scrimmage gives players real game situations but if you ever watched a scrimmage you wouldn't mistake it for a friday nite game.

Go watch, have fun and we can come back and debate the winner........ but no matter the score, the real winner will be the team that takes the lessons learned in a scrimmage and transfers those lessons to a real, honest to goodness friday nite game. thumb
