Ezell-Harding @ Eagleville Scrimmage

Eagleville won the scrimmage 3-1. [starters only 3-0]. The def. for Eagleville was very good, the linebackers were all over the field. Ezell struggled running the ball, very few gains running the ball. Their qb threw the ball well when in the pocket but did not have much opportunity to do that due to the good rush by Eagleville. After their first possession Ezell had a hard time protecting their qb. Eagleville's running game struggled in the beginning mainly because of too many penalties, but later in the second period with starters Eaglevilles line dominated. Charles Steagall ran the ball very well he also played a tough corner. I was surprise at the lack of numbers for Ezell this could be a problem for them later in the year, they were very tired at the end of the scrimmage, Eagleville just wore them down. It was a all day work day for both teams. Ezell has a good passing game if they can protect the qb. If Eagleville continues to work hard they could definitely make the playoffs.
