What's the status of Drew Carney and McGavock Johnson for next week's opener? Carney, who was in full pads at today's scrimmage versus Goodpasture, didn't look too gimpy; I assume Johnson's injury is a little worse since he was in half-pads (not sure I understand what benefit there was in dressing him in shells only).

Good to see a little more offensive consistency from MBA in the scrimmage today. Snyder was great at TB - if the line continues to progress and give him the holes he's progressively getting, he should have a good year. Howe is looking better at QB, too, and the WRs made some good grabs today.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
