He (my brother) spoke to a ref and told him that Alcoa was so much better than Hop that they don't need to hold-he said yea that's why I'm throwing the flag.. TnFootballfan
I hope it can be appeled....if not they need to add that rule...it is not Alcoa's fault that an KY reff loves his home team and goes aginst the other team. IT MAKES ME SOOOOOOOO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
aquasox9
if you weren't at the game and don't know exactly what happened you don't need to be calling a 17/18 yr old an idiot! there is probably an appeals process, but it's not likely that Warren will be playing vs. MHS next week. What an idiot. 825720706
alcoafan72
how you know???? 825720857 I tried to speak to whoever I could by phone, but naturally things were hectic and everyone was just trying to get out of there...coach said that they were going to be mum on the Brandon situation, but if he's out...he's out they play with what they got thumb

The Scribe
It appeared that Warren and a Hopkinsville player were blocked to the ground on a play with Warren on top. The two stayed locked together and there was some jawing going on. The Hopkinsville player appeared to smack Warren on the helmet and Warren retaliated by throwing a punch, while on top of the Hopkinsville player. An Alcoa lineman was hurt on the play and was down on the field while this happened. I'm not sure if the two had anything to do with each other. There was some jawing between the coaches while they were out checking on the lineman (who returned to the game later), but all was good between the teams after the game in the handshakes. The Scribe
Before he was ejected, Warren caught three passes for 47 yards, including an acrobatic catch where he outleaped a defender and caught it on the defender's back before falling to the ground. Shiverdecker had 75 yards but would have had 175 had two long touchdown runs not been called back for holding. One was very obvious. Not so sure about the second one. He did score Alcoa's last TD. Fiegler was 9-14 passing for 181 yards. He simply floated the ball on fade routes and the receivers ran under them all night.
