I hear the Dogs are going to be tough this year. Big Blockers. Mike Lunsford , former Cloudland coach, is back on the coaching staff and his son is at the helm. I look for Hampton to win this matchup and have a good season.

I Think JC will take this one because Smith and Brinker was out half of the game last year and still beat them. Smith runs twice as fast and Brinker hits twice as hard and they won't be sitting out this year.

I agree, JC should be the favorite with a win last season and their whole backfield returning. I look for a very phyical game because both teams likes to play smashmouth football. From what I've heard Hampton seems to have a little more pep to their step this season.With the hiring of Mike Lunsford and the drop to 1a,there is alot of optimism. Win or lose ,it will help both teams down the road. I think this game will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes or special teams. Its just to close to call.

I think this will be one of our toughest games of the year. Season opener is always tough. TR is a good back, hard to stop, Brinker does hit hard, but our D has been busting it and our line looks good, of course, don't forget Potter plays both sides of the ball. I think it will be a close game, but I pick Hampton to win. I'm fired up about this game, but JC always fires me up.

Pujo, did Mike ever get his notebook back? I heard it was stolen at the Cloudland game the other night and had some mighty important notes in it.

Yeah he got the notebook back,although I doubt he had anything in it ,he could'nt remember. I,d say he knows Cloudland football pretty good. It was nice out of John Julian to return it.
