Sdballer2005..........why do you think this will be such a long season......yes we did lose...yes our offense couldnt get much going...and yes we MIGHT have lost shadrick......but were you not paying attention when our defense didnt allow any points after the first quarter....were you not paying attention when our offense drove the length of the field and scored with 2:15 left...and were you not paying attention when our defense stopped them and got the ball back to our offense with under a minute left! so until you pay attention to the whole game.....dont say its gonna be a long season!!!!!

Got to give the Red Bank defense some credit here, folks. The defense allowed zero points to AE (their only score was a fumble recovery run in for a touchdown) and gave up 12 to a Soddy team that everyone said would win by at least 21 points. Their defense will keep them in every game they play this year. Soddy has a huge "O" line and Dobbs looked good in light of the fact that this was his first game ever. Red Bank used their speed wisely. The game was very well played with few mistakes (with the obvious exception of the kicking games). Soddy will get their share of wins this year, no doubt. Congrats to Coach Daniels at Red Bank. Perhaps folks will realize that he has now formed "his" program at Red Bank and they can contend for the title in Region 4-4a every year.

well this looks like its going to be a lonnnng .. season . Soddy is going to be the Bradley Central of last year the way it looks.. I just fell sorry for Ricketts, Atchley, and Lettner. If i was them i would be transfering to Ooltewah tomorow!!!!!

Ricketts, Atchley, and Lettner have more character and class than to turn to quitting. They will go to work and lead the team as best they can. That's how you develop winners - not whinners like yourself. Why don't you do the SD team a favor and you start going to the Ooltewah games and leave the Trojans to the task at hand - overcoming their mistakes and playing together as a team.

Red Bank is a good program so I think Soddy has nothing to be upset about that’s why we play the game the outcome is never guaranteed. Good luck to both squads for the remaining part of the season and remember both of you will improve from week to week and there is a bunch of football left to leave your mark. Well, that was the most intense game ive ever played! i just don't feel that the loss of shadrick is so bad to you guys at soddy. that number 32 blocked his butt off. he could block me, shadrick was too big and slow. soddy will go 7-3 this year. GOOD LUCK
