Right now it looks like it's Father Ryan's tournament to lose.

I am not sure how Division II plays the state championship out. But, if the Middle Tennesse teams get split into opposite brackets, I think it could be a Middle Tennesse finals. Father Ryan vs. JPII.

IMHO - Father Ryan does seem to have the edge so far, but picking 2-6 seems like a complete toss-up! Who will be playing well at the end of the season? Baylor has a history of putting their foot on the gas at the end. HOme field advantage?

Father ryan will definitley win div II state championship because they undefeated (like 14-0) and unbeatable.. They have some outstanding players like Patty Schneider up top, and Alyssa Rasey and Carrie Smith in the midfield, and a solid defense. Their goalkeeper has been playing extremely well

Everyone favored Ryan last year and look who came out on top. Ruling out Baylor is a big mistake. Ryan didn't win by much, and Baylor always finds ways to work hard putting themselves in positions to win. It will be an amazing match if both teams get there. Ryan definitly does NOT have it in the bag.

To say any team will definitely win State is silly, especially in a game like soccer where anything can happen. Father Ryan is the clear favorite, but there are plenty of teams who are capable of knocking them off on a given day.

Having seen most of the DII contenders, here is how I would rank them:

1. Father Ryan

2. JPII

3. Baylor

4. St. Agnes

5. Hutchison

6. ECS

7. GPS

8. BGA
