There is nothing between us. They beat us last year in the semis of the district when we should have killed them but they are mad at us because when they won the championship match vs Hendersonville at our field (we were hosting) the police officers did not let them come into the field for safety issues so they were all upset about that. this year we played awesome against them and we should have won but with some home cooking from the refs they won again. We will see them in the playoffs though where it counts.

It was not our fault on what happened to beech, it was their fault, they should follow the rules! Besides we will beat them next time. We are getting better and we are jelling. We are back!!!

umm to tell u the truth... beech's coach caused all of the drama. The players were just plain mean. they never went for the ball they only went for the player..they laughed when one of our forwards got hurt... one of them said"get that *&!@ up off the ground. Yeah, u can win games and beat everyone but at least Smyrna has class. (( not putting this towards u...))

im a smyrna supporter- i asked that question because i wasnt sure if there was more to the rivalry than simply past years scores. now that i know & i know how the last game went, i understand better. i really hope smyrna pulls this one out tonight-they deserve it & beech deserves to LOSE! & youre right- we do have class & sure sounds like they dont. i wont be able to attend, so someone please post the results asap!

The lady bulldogs won 1-0. They scored a goal very late in the game. They were able to put aside the negative comments and come away with a win putting them in a place that none of these girls have ever been. I will go out on a limb and say that they will go up to sub-state where they will unfortunately meet either brentwood, franklin, or centennial. Congratulations girls.
