The problem that I have obseved with Upperman is that they are trying to instill a very complicated offensive scheme. They usually change the play at the line of scrimmage and it gets there players confused. The players are constantly looking at the plays on there arm wraps. Defenses have to be patient while all this is going on. They are not a very good football team. They have a running back that is okay. The nose tackle is also good. He plays at a lot of different places. This one should not be close if Smith County is on there game. Bass will have a very good game at safety picking off passes.

Now when have you ever been able to get me riled up? If you notice I said you never know how the balls gonna bounce. I wonder what that means? If SC don't play it will be a long game for them. But I think they will be ready. They are finally showing signs of good leadership within the team. If they keep it up every week, they'll be allright. You said you was in Iowa getting ready for your game last week, I guess that means you haven't got hurt yet. Doesn't it?

All the time and you know it. Of cours i have not got hurt yet. What kind of question is that. Anyways you were hurt just as much as I was except mine kept happening in the same area. I might come see this week big boy considering we have a home game on saturday.

I was jus wunderin if Coach Meanard will pass out victory Cigars after this win. I know that they passed them out after a win last season. I think most kids in Smit co have tobacco in their blood from birth anyway, so this should not be a big deal. I think they are having these cigars shipped in from Westmoreland. You might call this cigar gate!!!

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
