Last night was a fluke. The ref red carded DB's best offensive threat for a bull crap reason. Also DB had a bomb threat and were not focused well. Science Hill more like Slaw Hill they will be the losers in the regionals. DB had some injuries and will be much more healthy at the regionals champ. and will embaress the Hilltoppers. 3-0 my prediction. McCloskey will have his girls ready for the next match.

Not only is the Tribe's leading scorer, also District 1 Offensive Player of the Year, playing injured, but the District 1 Defensive Player of the Year got hurt too. The Indians will win a hard-fought match with Greeneville, then beast "the Hill" <_<

I would also like to present the Science Hill parents with the "Redneck Fan" award when 50 year old men stand up and lead the handful of students and parents in cheers.

"a fluke"?? You have lost 6 of your last 7 games! Sounds like a trend...not a fluke. Also, injuries are part of the game. Every team at this stage is injured...it's not a valid excuse. And I'll ask again - who was red carded and why? Does anyone who was at the game know?

Forward Darah Karst was red-carded. She was yellow-carded in the first half and the second half received a second yellow. The second card came when she was tripped and both the girls fell. DB was awarded a free kick, but both girls got into a little extra activity, and only the DB player carded.

A trend? In its last 7 games, DB has played 5 teams ranked in the top 10. Congratulations to Science Hill in beating powerhouse teams such as South, Central, and Boone in it's last few games.

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
