3a Coach Of The Year?

Counce from dyersburg has got my vote. been down several games and out coached his opponent. so far undefeated.

My five choices to make the final list of candidates would have to be:

 

Williams (Greenbrier): lost all that talent and look where the 'Cats are

Daniel (Creek Wood): the Red Hawks are playoff bound for the first time ever

Finley (Cheatham Co.): nobody had the Cubs as a playoff team in the preseason

Cook (Macon Co.): what some thought would be a disasterous yr. is now a playoff year

Fitzgerald (Pearl-Cohn): got his kids to overcome tragedy and they are on the brink of hosting to open the playoffs with a win tonight.

Come on Coach Pemberton out at Catholic has to be in the running. Lost every starter but 4 and moved into the toughest region in 3A and is 8-1 with their only loss to U of Fulton

P.A. is the man, but for 2005 I would have to say Coach Lindsey from Lexington should win 3A coach of the year.

Coach Chuck Daniel of the Creek Wood Red Hawks. Only the third year of varisty play for this young program and Coach Daniel, along wity his great staff, has the Red Hawks in the playoffs as possibily a second seed. Great job Coach Daniel on putting this team and coaching staff together.

I gotta go with Williams from greenbrier. they lost 23 seniors and nobody expected them to do much this year and look at where they are 7-2 and with a win tonight he would have his third region title in a row.

How about Charlie Wiggins from Notre Dame - Chattanooga .......2 years ago experienced a 1-9 season , came back the following year with an 8-2 season and went to the second round of state , and currently is undefeated in Region 3 AAA ........sounds like pretty good coaching to me !

Sorry NotreDamedad, but I can't vote for anyone that can recruit their players. I'm not arguing that Charlie isn't a good coach, because he is...but it's much harder to win when you have no control over talent of your players.
