District 10 A

Like running wild said, Heritage only lost one player from last years team. They still have sharp shooter Jared Hill, the sly ball dribbling pg Taylor Jarrel, Big Papi DMill down low, Multi Positional Tyler Slagle, and plenty of depth and speed. East's advantage is that, combined, they could have one of the tallest teams in Single A. They also know how to take the ball to the basket. I think right now its real tough to call who the "team to beat" is going to be. But I am almost positive its going to be between East Robertson and White House Heritage at the end.

I hope no one forgets about East Lit b/c they are going to be tough. But i think everyone can agree that E Rob and WHHHHHHHHHHHS will be in the thick of it. Although I have to give the advantage to E Rob. They are starting, 6'2, 6'3, 6'4, 6'4, 6'6. For 1A thats pretty tall. Granted HHHHHHHS has some great shooters, but i hust think that E Rob control of the boards will be too much for them too handle. Not to mention that they won the district last year without the best defensive player in 1A (in my opinion) who is returning this year, ( Carlos Hudson).

I'm livin' the life.

HMMM I didn't realize carlos was that good....I knew he was quick and could snatch the ball. Yeah you are right they are starting some MAJOR height. Heritage doesn't have that, but they have DMILL down low, and he could box out a train. They also have Taylor "Snake" Jarrel, I don't know if the best defensive player in the STATE can steal the ball from him.

Nashville Christian lives n dies by the 3. it wont save them against heritage (plays suffocating d), East Rob. (Carlos, Desmond, Clinard, Tico, etc., etc.),

East Lit. (loads of athletes from what i hear; dark horse for the district title) and even Jo Byrns (deep team this year, more size and quickness than in years past). NCS doesnt really have anything different from last year.

You are right in the fact that there really isnt much of a personel change, but let me remind you that we had 3 freshman play alot last year, 2 of which started. The thing that we have gained is experiance. I'm not saying that they're going to be awesome or anything like that, only that their time is coming.
