Carver has the most talent Huntingdon has seen or will see all year long. Those Memphis teams have crazy speed. I got a call from someone earlier that read in the milan paper that Boo Weathers injured something in his leg/knee and is only about 75%...If this is true it will hurt them badly. Their speed guy gone hurt at the worst possible time. Carvers quarterback a.k.a. Michael Vick or Vince Young can make some incredible plays with his feet and I'm sure they have a guy or two at running back. Huntingdon definatley has the edge in the coaching department and they are going to need it because they will not be the most talented team on the field friday. This is Huntingdons first trip to Whitehaven and it will be something totally different than what they are used to. If Huntingdon starts looking ahead to next week the cobras will jump up and bite them in the butt.

Your concern for the Mustangs sucess is noted :(

Better being worrying about your dawgs taking care of business this weekend. Yall havent exactly been clutch lately in big games.

Dont bother trying to be a talent scout either; which would you rather say Sat morn, we won or hey we were the most talented team on the field last nite but we lost. :)

Go STANGS, Play your game and the rest will take care of itself. :)

Truth out,

Yes, a new Walmart is coming and we have a great baseball/softball park that has just opened up the lake for public fishing, whoo-hoo. Now H-Town has more parks than they do people, lol. Hope you guys don't elect a new mayor anytime soon, Park & Rec is running out of land to put a new park. Maybe yall could put up a billboard with the mayor's name on it instead of a park, or just rename one of the other 50 that's so run down.

Now to the football game.... H-town has lost a lot of playoff games they should have won, and I predict this to be another. Carver by 6

you never cease to amaze me with your predictions..turn coat :(

I for one want you H-towners to win and win big!

There is pay back time from the DAWGS come next week!

It will feel so good to send yal packing from your own field next week.

We will beat WHS just so we can get to yal

So good luck in Memphis, and on the way home think about the DAWGS!

We will be ready and mad :)

Man we are always thinking about you dawgs! I think about you everty time I drive thru M-town. Stop down there at PAPPY's and get me one of them big ole ice cream cones. THEY GOOD!!

But thinking about you dont mean we skeered!! We respect the dawgs, but we not in awe of you. BIG DIFFERENCE!!

If we both get the round 3, all I can say is BRING IT!!

We will be here and you will know you been in a game win or lose!!

Thats why GOD made Friday nights, just so he could watch Milan vs. Huntingdon.

I think he may be a Mustang fan! :thumb:

To the conqueror go the spoils,

    • One final thought. Coach Keith claims he was not aware of the player's failing grades. I won't comment on that, just to say this, IF he did not, whose job was it to see that this kid did not play ball at CHS? That person should be looking for a job and they might be, I don't know.
    • They have fired the principal, 2 teachers, at least 1 counsellor and 1 coach so far. I don't see it from my view in Oak Ridge as a coach thing, he  was just implicated in asking 1 teacher to  fix 1 kid's grades.   In our local media(Clinton and Oak Ridge)the principal is who is the originator and pusher of the fraud. The others are peripheral. The coach isn't even the big story, just here on a sports site.  The media view is the principal did it to cause CHS to be seen as excellent by the state. He committed fraud to do that so he might spend a little time in jail IF that is valid.
    • And from coach himself, he wasn’t told he was let go because of the ineligible player.    that’s just what the schools needed to happen to fit their bull
    • Wish it was made clear before a coach gets let go or not retained instead of being sold as the reason he was in trouble. I was told the kids who got grades changed, 97% or better were non athletes but the coach is taking all the heat so the schools can pretend it wasn’t their job to know. heck, what do you think could happen when you hire husband and wife as head principal and head guidance….   that’s not being said though…
    • Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe.  Last time I came up there to watch my pirates one of those guys in that pickup trucks flattened the tires on the lawnmower.  This is payback.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
