Who is the best team in the state.

You could be right about Trousdale Co., I haven't seen enough of them to judge, but if Catholic loses to Fulton by 31, and Alcoa beats Fulton by 38, then that just tells me that Catholic wouldn't hold too much of a threat to Alcoa. I know the Fulton team that Alcoa beat has gotten a lot better and Catholic's been hot lately, but Alcoa has greatly improved since the first half of the season. They've almost been mistake free, except for a few meaningless penalties.

 

 

yeah no doubt alcoa has gotten better...your thinking is wise and i like it..yeah i think that tc game would be hard but not impossible...who you root for team wise on here?

With the best team in the state being Riverdale. I would love to see a Riverdale vs. Maryville matchup. What a game that would be.

Without a doubt its RIVERDALE. I cannot see anyone beating them this year. I have been impressed with Olltewah, Wilson Central, and Cookeville but the class of Tennessee this year is Riverdale.

beaten yes and manhandled but not at their best (no Brandon Warren). plus no one in 2A has beaten them since 2003 in the semis and that was Lipscomb who is now in 3A. so Alcoa's streak against current 2A teams goes back even further.

Your not a good team if 1 individual keeps you from winning, dept is the diffrence between Riverdale and the rest of the state.

in general it comes down to alcoa,or trousdale or knox catholic maybe..owls or db...lol all good teams and all have their seasons o yeah and no doubt MARYVILLE

Well Fulton should be out of the 3A race since Catholic beat them last week. As far as other divisions go i don't think anyone can touch Riverdale, Maryville, or Alcoa in their divisions. Catholic should be the best team in 3A but they do play a tough Livingston team this week.

knox central is the best in the public school division in the state. now schools that take tuition and anyone inthe state can come play then it would be that private school called maryville, level the playing field and let us take in players from all over. go melrose and kill the rednecks from that cheating school. melrose should be crowned champs of the public schools because maryville is not a legitimate public school.
