Which team is favored in Region 2?

Karns is the defending Regional Dual Champs.

Farragut is the defending Regional Champs.

And Maryville has some great returing kids.

 

Looks like Farragut has lost a few good ones, so who is the fav for winning the region in the duals and Regional Tourney.

With your Irish in the mix, I see this region stepping up to challange some of the top regions in the state.

IMO- Webb, KCHS and SHS has great feeder programs that should start paying off.

The loss of Knox hurts Farragut. Maryville should compete, but karns is always up there no matter who they have on thier team. Look for Halls to improve from last year, but dont look for much more than just improvement.

How about Seymour?

Yeah, I know of only 6 kids that Farragut has coming back. Looks like they have a lot of holes to fill to compete for another Regional Championship.

Do they have any outstanding freshmen coming out?

Sounds like Maryville has a good group this year.

MasterBlaster 1, Catholic is in the "small" school division. They will be tough to beat along with Seymour and Pigeon Forge. Coach B. & Coach V. have done a good job getting kids out and are able to fill all weight classes. As you know, just being able to fill every class is a big advantage, especially in the "small" division. Looks to be an interesting season!

blake lost to sherbakoff 4 to 1 but there were some questionable takedowns that could have been stale mates. so depending on the ref it could have been a closer match.
