Matman Weekly Rankings #1 November 2005

Congratulations to November’s Wrestlers of the Month!!

High School: Baylor’s Corey Manson

Manson was recently selected by the NHSCA as an Academic All-American. He is a three time Tennessee State finalist, and was undefeated state champion last year with a 41-0 record! He is currently ranked by USA Wrestling Magazine as the 8th best senior in the nation at 130 pounds.

College: Chattanooga’s Matt Keller

This 4x Tennessee State Champion from Bradley has returned home to renew his focus on winning a National Championship at Tennessee-Chattanooga. Keller forced himself into the Moc lineup by winning his wrestle-off decisively over teammate Josh Keefe who at the time was nationally ranked at #14. Keller has been ranked as high as #12 in the National polls, and is a 2X NCAA Qualifier at both 125 and 133 lbs. He will be competing at 133 this year.

Brett S.D. and Usary S.H. at 112 would not even be in top 5 in REGION 10 D.Johnson, Kent Johnson Chris Livingston Houston and Nick Tramel Bartlett all have accomplished more at 112 last year.Neither Brett are Usary did much at 103 last year 112 whole different ballgame.

None of my business but...Lemme guess, you are Tramel's dad?

Not doubting there good wrestlers and no disrespect to the young men, just do not believe there top 6 at 112,might make a case for Brett no way Usary and like i said look at 103 last year compared to 112 not a bunch of 8th and 9th grades Kent Johnson already seeing the difference this past weekend.I Take it you disagree and thats fine, time will tell.
