The All Region 3-4A team was released on Monday. I've seen the first team and superlatives in a paper or two this week, but not the entire squad. Contgrats to all who are named. Each and every one of you are desrved of the honor.

How do they come up with the all-region team? Do the coaches vote on players or is there some predetermined number of players that come from each team? After looking at the selections, it seems the higher you finish in the region, the more players you have selected.

 

Can you shed some light? Have a Happy Holiday Season.

Basically, yes. The higher you finish the more first team slots you have. The players who are nominated and receive the most votes are the first teamers, while the other are honorable mention. All of the selections are chosen by a vote of the coaches.

 

And by the way, should you not know that already? Do they do it that way in Clarksville?
