RMC
Does anyone know anything about the 103-130lb. weight class? Who do you think is going to place in those weigts? I know about a few of the Georgia boys: 103 - Carson Fields (Parkview), Smith (Mceachern) 112 - Floyd (McEachern), Puerta (Parkview), 119 - Turpin (Mceachern), Galloway (Parkview) 125 - Goins (Ringgold), Bynum (McEachern) 130 - Lofton* (Parkview), Lanham (Walton) All of the names listed above either already are state placers or will be. *Lofton could possibly be at 125. my2cents
I have a couple of questions on the way these tournaments are run, for example: 171 brackets : why are there 4 matches and 12 byes in the opening round? What ever happened to the championship matches being one mat in the middle of the floor? The reason I ask is I remember years ago (like 25-30) going to tournament finals and they would be about 7:00 and that is all that would be on the floor. One mat. The 3&4, and 5&6 place would start about 5:30 on two mats then roll one up and center the other. Now with 3 matches going on at once in the finals, it seems to have lost some of the excitement, especially in close team races. Just wondering Good luck to all the wrestlers.
