TNAAU Wrestling

Middle School State Dual Tournament

 

January 28th , 2006

Sevier County High School

Sevierville, TN

 

Weigh-ins: 7:00 – 8:00 am (no weight allowances)

 

Wrestling begins: 8:30 am

 

Placement: 1st – 8th

 

Entry Fee: $ 100.00 / team (checks payable to “PFHS”)

 

Admissions: $ 5.00 adults ; $ 2.00 students / children

Concessions will be available.

 

Weight Classes:

77, 87, 95, 103, 112, 120, 127, 135, 143, 153, 163, 175, 205, 250

Team Information:

1. Hospitality is provided for coaches with an AAU coaches card

(limit of 3) and 1 manager / scorekeeper.

2. All teams must provide a scorekeeper at the table when they are

competing or there will be an additional charge of $ 50.00 / team.

3. Teams must fax their team records, names of all their team

members (coaches and managers also) to 865-774-5798 Attn:

Greg Foreman by Saturday, January 21st or

there will be a $ 25.00 late fee charged.

4. The Top four Teams will be seeded and the others will be randomly drawn.

5. Tournament format will depend upon the number of teams participating.

6. For any further information contact Greg Foreman 865-577-1950.

I know...it's a stupid question, but do we have to be from Tennessee to enter?

 

Unfortunately, Yes.

However, it will be good to see you guys on the 21st, and catch up on the latest Jeff B. news. Also, Iam trying to put guys together some discounted stuff to do when you'all come. Let me know how many days you'all plan to say?

TNAAU Middle School State Dual Tournament

Hey Foreman,

 

Our HVAC middle school season ended in December. However, all of the Brentwood Middle School guys wrestle for the same off season club. Could we bring a team to the dual if we could prove that their all legitimate students. They were 17-0 this year and it would be good for them to see how they stack up against some really good East TN teams.

      Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.

      Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
