Well, being that this site covers basketball for the entire state of TENNESEEE, I am sure there are more than one Coach King. Could you be a little more specific in which coach King you might be referring to.

He is in the Top 3 however Bradley Central's coaches record doesn't like..something 116-17 in 6 years. Only time will tell if he continue that and outdo King's records. Only thing in my mind that is holding King back from the top spot is he hasn't won the big one yet

If you're going to even try to say who's the best coach in the entire state, then Rick Rudesill would have to be inlcuded at the top somewhere. He's managed to get it done year after year.

Coach Randy King from Oakland. He's had 15 consecutive winning seasons. GREAT coach

it has to be george pitts with everyone else fighting for second. yes ba playis in d2 but he was able to dominate the state at science hill and them ranked for several years in the nation. he had them beating up on the memphis teams. probablty will be doing the same at ba

I think it is a credit to Randy King from Oakland that fans believe he is the best that there is. I don't think you can discount his number of wins in a predominatly tuff region yr in and yr out. Factor in today's many coaching changes, where some coaches change schools like their socks, that King's loyalty and dedication to Oakland has to be applauded. I hear yr after yr that Oakland is down this yr, Oakland is rebuilding, we are playing too many young kids,.........and then you see that King works that magic and still manages to win. Whether you like the man or not.....you have to RESPECT what he does and what he can get out of kids.

 

AND.... I can say is that he WAS the FIRST choice to start the program at Siegel b/c Nolan wanted the best. We are GRATEFUL and ecstatic that Randy King remained in red, white, and blue to lead the Patriots to more productive yrs.
