Good dunk but it wasn't off the backboard...

It was on a missed layup that rolled off the front of the rim and he timed it perfectly. Problem with JJ is ever since then and especially now he has let it go to his head and tries to dunk all the time now. Someone mentioned he actually might be a plyaer if he learned to play basketball instead of trying to dunk all the time.

Best Dunk in the last 3 years...not too many people remember it because most have moved on

Siegel at Cookeville 2004 The Stretch ArmStrong

Keith Ramsey from baseline 3 point arch goes into to about 2 feet outside of the box and goes up for the slam gets pushed back and somehow stretches his arm over all of them and puts it down over 2-3 defenders. Sent the whole place into shock. I remember i ran up and down the stairs and then did some snow angels to cap it off.

I remember that one. I was like WTF?!!! Zac Hennigan can dunk it nicely, but wont do it unless Cookeville has a lead. Also Stearman went up for one the other night, but lost his handling on the ball in the air.

Not trying to be a homer, but Britton Winfree had a monster dunk for Lebanon last night. Presley had a three rim out, Winfree took it off the backboard and slammed it home, then hung on the rim. I'm kinda surprised he didn't get a T.

 

Britton had a nice one against Gallatin a while back as well. He's definitely got ups. Several other Blue Devils can dunk but haven't yet in a game.

dang that sounds like a good dunk wish i could have seen that one

Winfree also had a nice dunk against Blackman earlier in the year.

      We are optimistic because we will have another great season. You should keep your opinions on your Forrest Rocket board. These kiddos at Marion have had an amazing off season. They are working hard and it is showing. Coach TStark is getting these kids scholarships to get their college for free. Also Coach Harm is back so this is another awesome thing for our kiddos. Forrest will get theirs when they come to Bill Baxter Stadium this season. My main men Sam, Tay and Tilton are going to do amazing things this season. You should just watch and see what these kiddos are capable of doing. The Marion County Warriors are a force to be reckoned with again this year. East Robertson will be a good team again but that is the only big challenge this team will have again. If we can beat East Robertson like I know we can then we will go to the state championship and win the game. As always it is a great day to be a warrior. Go Warriors! We are Marion!

      The player is only able to go because of the coach who is his dad. The dad is a recruiter not a good coach. HC blamed him for losing the Clinton game in the playoffs.
