RMC who is the earlier favorite to win the Tournament? Collins Hill and Hoover have tough teams if I am not mistaken?? Gives us some insight on how you think things might end up. Thanks a lot in advance.

I have no idea how it will end up. I'm pretty sure Oviedo is the highest ranked team in the tournament coming in at #20 in the AWN rankings. Dematha out of Maryland and Mt. Tabor from North Carolina are both supposed to be tough.

 

Our goal is to make the Kyle Maynard duals one of the toughest duals in the nation. I sent invitations to 77 different schools from Wisconsin to Louisiana and all the top programs east of the Mississippi. Next year we'll plan a little better and make sure everyone is out of school!

 

We hope to expand the field to 16 teams in future years. So if you want a challenge, please keep us in mind.

Just wondering, but which teams in Tennessee were invited?

tophat......the tournament is this Thursday December 22 at Collins Hill High School 50 Taylor Road, Suwanee, Ga 30024. (www.collinshillwrestling.com)

 

Texas23...we tried to limit it to 2 teams from each state and last year Father Ryan and Farragut came so we re-invited them. I guess through less than official means (email) I extended invitations to Baylor, Soddy-Daisy and Bradley Central.

 

Next year we'll pick a different date and see if we can expand our out of town entries.

 

For those wanting to come, Kyle will be signing his book.

A good day a wrestling at Collins Hill; too bad we couldn't pull out the win against Oviedo. They were awfully tough.
