Last night against the Mavericks Kobe Bryant score 62 points. he did not play in the 4th quarter but if he did how many points does everyone think he would have wound up scoring? What is everyones thoughts

Who cares? He shamed and bought his way out of prison. He should have been scoring 62 in the Colorado Prison Basketball League last night. Plus, his selfishness is single-handedly the reason that the team with him, Shaq, Malone, and Payton couldn't win a title.

I'm glad he can light it up occasionally since the moron owner of the team has decided he's rather have one selfish player try to lead the team to titles instead of using the formula that was working. As "great" as he is supposed to be he should average 50 a night.

Are you stupid buddy? The reason the Lakers even win games is because of Kobe.

World class hater up here.

Not quite. Just a guy that was a lifelong Lakers fan until after the 04 Finals. When Buss decided to go with Kobe, I quit watching. They may win a game or two because of him, but they won titles with Shaq. Remind me again what they have done with The Kobe Bryant One Man Show? Oh yeah, the team had their worst record in my lifetime and are on their 3rd different coach. And this is the second season of it. I think they are currrently the 7 seed in the west and are "overachieving." Please. Give me a break.

Little fact. I don't feel like searching this to provide evidence, but during the Shaq/Kobe era, when Shaq missed a game and it was just Kobe on the court, the Lakers record was around .500. If Kobe has to miss a game and it was Shaq on the court, the Lakers were undefeated.

Yeah, Kobe Byrant is the man. :P

    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
    • The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..
    • I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
    • Going to grundle Troy Fleming?
    • I agree I don't think it will go to trial either, but I feel like that will be because no judge would deem this to warrant a law suit... If the school board settles, they loose and all coaches and schools loose too.
