Watertown verses Westmoreland

Westmoreland won 42-38. This one ended with a lot of controversy which is a shame because both teams fought hard. An official called a foul on Westmoreland with less than a minute to go and the ref said 2 shot foul (which was incorrect). The Watertown player misses the first shot and Watertown calls a time out. After the time out, the ref says that he had made a mistake and it was a foul on the floor and should have been 1 and 1 and this was a correctable error, but Westmoreland only had 6 fouls so it should have been ball to Watertown underneath the basket, even if Watertown had been shooting a 1 and 1 and missed since there was no chance for either team to rebound it should have been a jump ball with possession arrow Watertown. Then the referee gave the ball to Westmoreland and Watertown had the possession arrow. So in essence with 45 seconds to go in a tied ballgame Westmoreland fouls and gets the ball. And then with 30 seconds to go on deflection/loose ball Watertown player makes contact with Westmoreland player and they shoot two ft's on this possession to make it 40-38. Watertown gets a good look at a 3 in the corner with 2.9 seconds to go and they miss and Watertown kid fouls on FT for the final four point loss. Watertown was up 3 with about 1:30 to go when a guy makes a 3 in the corner that would have put Watertown up by 6 but a charge was called on the PG. Watertown was 9-22 (2), 5-11 (3), 5-10 (FT), West. 10-24 (2), 3-11(3), 13-19 (FT). I think this game should have made it to overtime, but another game that was decided by a very big mistake by a striped shirt in a tied game.
