Also, didn't Elizabethton have a superior HW at the Dog Pound? I wonder if he has lost any thus far in TN this year?

I was also pretty impressed with Elizabethton's heavyweight... he seemed very outsized but wrestled very smart for a smaller heavy and used that to his advantage. He really looked like he rarely came out of position and this allowed him to win a lot of his matches. I thought he lost in the finals to Lavergne's heavy... I could be wrong but I seemed to remember that. I think that one was a case of the size being too big a factor for him when the opponent knew how to use it.

I also have to add the name Tony Corley at 119 and Darnell Booker at 140. Booker pinned Caples in the Hillwood finals, just didn't get the call. Ask anyone at the tournament and they will tell you the truth. Corley is a very good 119, will make some noise at the state.

Yeah Mason caples was pinned for about 15 seconds. Very obvious. Also Vanderloop was defeated in the semi's in the 152 bracket @ hillwood

Coach Bray , Shouldn't Justin Cash from Brentwood High School 112lber be in the mix. The other poll has him listed as D2, but I'm pretty sure he's D1. Thanks for your effort in this never ending "well he beat so and so two weeks ago " poll.

BCB

If he goes to Brentwood Academy, he's D2. If he goes to Brentwood High School, he's D1. I believe he goes to Brentwood Academy where his father is head coach.
