I will be there cheering for my Blue Devils. They have not blown out many teams this year, but I hope they can start getting back on the winning track. Nick Payne is very hard to stop, he scored 20 against Siegel. Lebanon by 10.

It is mighty tough to blow teams out in this competitive district...Nick Payne is quite the force out there, blackman will need to contain him to better their chances of winning

I say Lebanon by atleast 18...Senior Marc Hancock is out, so Walton is starting and he will have a breakout game........scoring atleast 20..........LET'S GO NOW....

My boy Marc is out, and that will hurt, but that means junior Ken Walton will start. Walton will bring a little bit more offense to the starting line up.

Looks like you guys need to start "listening" to me as Blackman IS on a roll with 2 DISTRICT wins in a row beating Lebanon 55-53 tonight.

David Barnes leads the way with 15. Randle and Bragg with 10. Free throws make the difference in this one with BHS making 10 out of 14.

Best crowds I have seen all year. NO one can hold a candle to OUR state champion cheerleaders.

Big congrats to Blackman, it looks like the Blaze are starting to make their move in the district. However, beat Oakland on tuesday, and then maybe Blackman will be on a roll............

We will take what we can get right now, OG.

No doubt. If Oakland wasnt doing so well at this point, Turnham would have to be my vote for district coach of the year. Alot of people have them picked dead last (me included), so to be contending for the top 4 in the district is greatly overachieving according to who they lost and what little experience they had coming back

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
