Hixson, East Ridge, McMinn Central and Notre Dame will meet next week in the Section 2 Duals(regions 3 & 4) with the winner advancing to the A/AA state dual meet in Clarksville on February 4th. Winners will wrestle for one of four spots in the class A/AA state championship. I would think Notre Dame has a pretty good chance of winning a state championship this year. I would think the TSSAA would make 4 more teams happy ,not to mention the hotels and 5 star Diners, by making it an eight team bracket. But I'm new to this wrestling sport, so I'm sure all they(TSSAA) do makes sense. reuben128 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Share Posted January 20, 2006 the factor of space i think is key there..... it already was full with 8 d2 and 8 d1 teams.... recently adding a third tourney with 4 more teams to the mix makes it pretty packed.
