Hixson High in Chattanooga will definitely be a team to beat and should be a contender. Many posts explain how AE is always in the running - this is true but is it because of the athletes they have or the coaching? In Hixson's district it seems that Howard gets all the credit because of their name and tradition but Hixson should come out of this district undefeated. Many have not heard or considered them but they have good talent and a good coach. They will definitely be a team to watch.

Bolivar Central will have another big year. Senior Ryan Wiley is one of the top and MOST UNDERRATED player in AA. Junior Bryan Lake is a very good Post Player and will emerge as one of the best this year. Junior Point Guard Jay Selmer lead the Tigers last season to a great year and is as solid a point guard as anyone. Freshman Willie Kemp is the BEST Freshman and ONE of the BEST players in AA. And they also have a strong bench and will be tops in AA.

Naturally there gonna be there..Thats Tradition..I still expect Giles Co to play Sycamore in the substate round...But I'll never count Marshal Co OUT!!

Marshall Co could still surprise some people. Watch for the emergence of future-star G Trai Alred. F Stephon Johnson should have a big year, as well as 5'8 G Darryl Henry. If 6'7 F Jeffery Crutcher continues to develop, this could be another big year for Marshall Co......
