Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN has a team camp during the week of June 12-14.

 

The team fee is $125 per team

Boarding Campers $100 that includes dorm, meals, and t-shirt

Commuters $60 with meals and t-shirt

Commuters $40 without meals, only t-shirt.

 

There will be an overtime tournament one night and individual contest the other night.

I recommend this one. It is allot of games for the buck. Nothing to distract the girls. Each team is assigned a classroom and they bring sleeping bags, air mattresses or whatever they want. The only pit fall is the JV has to play in a barn. Or something like a barn. If family intends on going, email me at jamiewroper@yahoo.com and I will give you a heads up on a place to stay.

You'll get some of the best competition in the state at Wayne County's Summer Camp. They are usually held for the girls on the first and second weeks of June. Besides Wayne County you will usually see Summertown, Madison Magnet, and others that dominate year in and year out in their respective districts. Contact David Byrd at WCHS 931-7223238.

Not sure how far you're willing to travel, but LMU has a team camp the first or second week of June every year. Generally has about 40 teams, guaranteed 2 games a day and a tournament on Friday. Very good competition, played in well air conditioned facilities at Cumberland Gap High School and Tex Turner Arena. Contact Roger Vannoy at LMU (423) 869-6241

 

And also in Destin, FL there's a camp called Beach Bash. Cumberland Gap girls went last year and we had a blast. It's a fun way to allow the girls to spend 4 days together doing nothing but playing ball and bonding. It's kind of high, but the competition was good, with teams from about 8 states, and the atmosphere was wonderful. They have a website.
